"The shuttle looked even more impressive at close glance. It loomed over the tarmac like an impatient bird of prey, elegant, but finding herself uneasy on land, longing to return to the skies where she belonged. Her silhouette was smooth yet aggressive, a blend of organic aerodynamics and gaping jet intakes. A small army of service vehicles and personnel hurried at her feet, dwarfed by the colossal volumes of the machine.
